  • Parliamentary assistant at the House of Representatives (1988-1991); Deputy Head of Cabinet, then Head of Cabinet of the Vice-Minister-President of the Walloon Region (1995-1999)
  • Teaching assistant in public law (1984-1988 and 1991-1995); substitute lecturer (1995-1997); lecturer (1997-2010); senior lecturer (since 2011) at the UCL; member of the Groupe européen de droit public since 1991
  • Appointed Judge to the Constitutional Court by Royal Decree of 18 April 2010
